INERGEN gas fire extinguishing systems<\/strong> are used in spaces where an electrically non-conductive environment is required and the protected area is usually occupied.<\/p>\n

INERGEN<\/strong> is an extinguishing agent composed of a mixture of three gases (which reduce the oxygen concentration): 52% nitrogen, 40% argon and 8% carbon dioxide.<\/p>\n

INERGEN<\/strong> gas extinguishes the fire by reducing the oxygen concentration below the required level for combustion. After the INERGEN<\/strong> gas is discharged people can breathe comfortably, as the increased carbon dioxide concentration increases the respiratory rate and increases the body’s ability to assimilate oxygen.<\/p>\n

It is the only gas tested on human subjects and, consequently, accepted anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n

The installation contains INERGEN<\/strong> gas, stored in the gaseous phase in high-alloy steel containers at a pressure of 150 bar, 200 bar or 300 bar. There are manual or automatic devices for discharge. The substance is distributed and discharged into the protected area through a distribution network (pipes) and fixed nozzles that ensure uniform discharge.<\/p>\n
